What I’ve been listening to…

 

I’ve been so busy lately doing boring case studies and stuff for school, so I thought I’d write a little about what songs I can’t stop listening to at the moment while I’ve got a bit of spare time. :)

Marina and the Diamonds - Primadonna by Marina and The Diamonds

• After already reaching over half a million views on YouTube, I predict that Primadonna will be a big hit for Marina. The latest single from Marina is quite different to her past songs. I was a bit worried about her new direction when the last single Radioactive was released, but Primadonna is a perfect pop song and I love it!

 

Never Let Me Go

• To be honest the first time I heard this song I cried a bit, and I don’t cry at songs. Ever. That’s a compliment. This song is just so emotional and Florence’s vocals are amazing. This is one of my favourites from the album Ceremonials.

I have so many other songs to write about, so expect to see me blog about them soon!

Brand New Video: Primadonna - Marina & the Diamonds

The brand new music video for Marinas next single ‘Primadonna’ has just been released. This music video is Part 4 of the ‘Electra Heart’ concept and will be included on her second album. The single will be out on the 16th of April. Check out the video below;

Marina reveals new track listing and album artwork for ‘Electra Heart’

                 
Today Marina has announced the brand new tracks which will be on her second album Electra heart. The new album will feature 12 tracks including ‘Fear and Loathing’ and ‘Living Dead’. Last single ‘Radioactive’ will not feature on the standard edition.

Marina and the Diamonds tickets on sale tomorrow…

Marina is set to release her second album ‘Electra Heart’ on the 30th April. To coincide with this release she will be doing a tour in May. She will be doing 8 dates and will start at Manchester Cathedral on May 4th and finish at Cardiff Coal Exchange on May 15th. Marina is also going to release a brand new single called ‘Primadonna’ on the 4th april. Recently on her Twitter (@Marinasdiamonds) she said that she is ‘hoping to preview the song in a few weeks’. I can’t wait to hear it!
